M2L Docs

This documentation is applicable to both versions of Mega Mixable Live (M2L) which are as follows:

- Mega Mixable Live  (M2L)

- Mega Mixable Live Deluxe (M2LD)

Irrespective of your device and operating system, all versions of M2L will behave similarly on all platforms with only a few minor differences which will be highlighted in this documentation. Differences between the two versions will also be highlighted seeing as M2LD will have features and characteristics that will not be available in M2L.

This documentation will also provide a detailed user guide as to all the functions available in all versions of M2L while you're on board the decks.

Basic controls

Mega Mixable Live - Basic Controls

Mega Mixable Live: Deluxe - Basic Controls

The Mega Mixable Live deck is divided into 7 main sections:

Section 1 - Heads Up Display (HUD)

Applicable Versions: M2L, M2LD

Operating Systems: iOS, Android, Fire OS

The purpose of the HUD in M2L is to provide information to the end user, as well as give them a means to input text data into the deck.

In the HUD section, we have:

1. Name: This is a field that will allow the end user to input any alpha numeric text data that can serve as their name or alias.

2. Beam Notes symbol: The current looped track that is actively playing will be displayed beside this symbol.

3. Clock: This section displays the current date and time according to the clock on your device.

4. Theme: This section displays the current/active theme.

5. System: This section will display your operating systems name.

6. Talk: This is a field that will allow the end user to input text to be used for the Text-To-Speech function (TTS). By touching this box, you will invoke the keyboard for text entry.

7. Track states: This is information displayed in the form of icons that informs the end user of the current state of the looped track they have selected. These icons include the Play, Forward, Rewind, Pause, and the Stop icons.

8. LED Indicators: When a looped track is playing/active, there will be a green LED to denote this. Once a track has been stopped, the LED will go off (white/grey colour). M2LD users will have an extra indicator for screen recording which will turn red once screen and microphone recording is active.

9. Repeat Icon: The repeat icon is always active as all tracks in M2L are looped by default.

10. Language: Below the LED indicators is a 3 letter acronym to denote what language is currently active on the deck.

11. Avatar: This will display a squared image that the end user has selected from their device. Avatars can either be in JPEG or PNG formats.

Section 2 - Percussion Instrumental Pre-sets
